The Walking Horse Association of Alabama’s Annual Stallion Fee Auction is currently running on the Sugar Creek website.

There are stallion fees available to 37 of the most popular stallions in our breed. The proceeds of these auctions annually go to Smile-A-Mile.

Smile-A-Mile's mission is to provide hope, healing of the spirit and love for the whole family during the childhood cancer journey.

The Stallion Fee Auctions will begin to close on Monday February 24th beginning at NOON.

The SHOW HIO held its annual training and testing on Saturday February 15, 2024 at the Embassy Suites in conjunction with the Walking Horse Trainers’ Association’s annual meetings and banquet. Elaine Marie Gilmore, age 64 of Petersburg, TN died on Friday, February 7th, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones, at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ. Elaine went home to be with the Lord. She was born in Paterson, NJ, and was raised in Brick, NJ where she lived before moving to Petersburg, TN several years ago. Read More
