Kristen Walker, the Associate Director of Public Policy at the Tennessee Farm Bureau, will be the guest speaker for the TWHBEA General Membership Luncheon on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11am. She will give TWHBEA members an overview of policies, legislation, and regulations that could potentially affect the agricultural and livestock industries. The presentation will also give some insight about what we can expect from the Trump administration when they take office in January.
In her role at the Tennessee Farm Bureau, Kristen focuses on national affairs and commodity issues. Prior to this role, Walker served as a Regional Field Director in 11 counties in East Tennessee for five years. In this role, she served as the liaison between county Farm Bureaus and the state organization. Walker grew up on her family’s commercial cow/calf operation in Maryville, TN, and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2017 with a degree in animal science.
The TWHBEA General Membership Luncheon will be held in the auditorium at the TWHBEA Headquarters in Lewisburg.
