Christmas In July selects Judges

The Christmas in July Horse Show is scheduled for July 1–2, 2026, and will be held at the Bedford County Ag Center in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Show management has selected Chad Adams, Derek Bonner, and Ryne Parker to serve as the judging panel for the two-night event.

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – The traditional Stick Horse class commenced at 6:40 on Saturday evening, sponsored by Sugar Creek Farms and Creekview Farms. Steve Buttleman played the Kentucky Derby theme to welcome everyone. Everyone got a blue ribbon and a Purity ice cream coupon for participating. Kingland Kids and Steve Buttleman also made sure everyone had a glow-in-the-dark necklace as well.

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – Friday night has long been Patriotic Night at The Celebration, where everyone dons their red, white and blue. It is a celebration of freedom and those who fought hard to maintain that freedom. This year was especially poignant as the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence was commemorated earlier this year.

It was also dubbed Throwback Thursday, where spectators and exhibitors alike celebrated the rich history of this great breed. They especially commemorated Betty Sain, the first female trainer to win a World Grand Championship exactly 60 years ago.
